Alexander, John (Aberdeen)

Alexander John
b? 1871, fl. 1924
Aberdeen

Henley writes:
Born at the Bullers of Buchan, Cruden (Aberdeenshire) 1871.
Ordinarily constructed instruments-about fourteen specimens-varnished in various shades. Generally admired by the violinists of his country.

On the grounds of only having made fourteen violins, I'm not surprised that I haven't seen a single one.
