Samuel Collier

Musical instrument maker at the sign of Corelli's Head on London Bridge. Sandys & Forster record him as active in 1755, the year before the bridge was demolished. Thereafter in partnership with one Davis in Fish Street. W. Meredith Morris wrote "I have seen one violin of is make, on the Stainer model, varnished dark yellow, with a small husky tone".
